Operation Ouch magazine is aimed at fans of the show and curious kids aged 6 to 12+ who enjoy learning all there is to know about the human body. The content is neither gruesome nor graphic; it is written and designed in a child-friendly format that is interesting, fun, and informative.
In Australia and New Zealand, you can buy the current issue of Operation Ouch magazine in major supermarkets, newsagents, and many independent shops. Use our store finder to find a magazine retailer near you.

The issue number and on sale date will be included on your order confirmation email and is determined by the date you order and the date the next available issue is printed. Please allow between 6-8 weeks for delivery of your first issue.

Yes! To purchase a subscription as a gift, simply:
  • Visit the Operation Ouch magazine subscription page on either our Australian or New Zealand subscription store
  • Once on this page, click the 'Give as Gift' heading within the subscription product section
  • Select the number of magazine issues you wish to gift (5 or 10 issues) from the subscriptions page and click ‘GIFT’
When you are ready to check out:
  • Select ‘view cart’ or click the cart symbol located at the top right of the website, and your order summary will appear for your review.
  • At checkout, ensure you enter the recipient's address in the postal / delivery section and your details (the purchaser) in the billing section.
  • The order confirmation will be sent to the purchaser, which will contain a printable PDF gift certificate which you can forward in an email or print and pop in a card.
Yes, for Australian and New Zealand subscription orders, delivery is free. For all other single magazine or previous issue orders, all prices shown are inclusive of postage and handling. No further additional costs are applied at checkout.
Please note, orders may be taking longer to arrive due to delays with Australia Post that are out of our control. To keep track of your order, you can log into your account via LovattsMagazines.com.au or LovattsMagazines.co.nz at any time to view the details of your order history. You can also refer to the order confirmation email sent to you at the time of purchase to check your start issue number. Your account details, including your shipping address, can be changed at any time by logging into your Lovatts Media Magazines account. To update your account details, simply:
  • Go to the 'My Account' tab
  • Scroll down to the Account Details section and click 'View Addresses'
  • Pick the delivery address details that you want to change and click 'Edit'
  • Change your address and click 'Update Address' button.
If your address change is made after we have dispatched a magazine issue as part of your subscription or single-issue purchase, this change will be reflected from the subsequent issue. Due to our print lead times, we may require up to 8 weeks notice.
